Hey everybodys!
As I sit here in the study, typing away, listening to the rain outside, I can't help but wonder: why am I not motivated to do the things I need to do right now? In this case, my History Assignment.
On Friday night I recieved a call from one of my friends who invited me to sleep over. I knew that in the weekend coming I had to do my assignment but I just thought that the assignment could wait. But to my surprise, I stayed another night, which wasn't the best idea as I had caught a cold and wasn't feeling well that day. Now I'm trying to recover from my sickness and STILL haven't completed the assignment. The assignment is already overdue because I wasn't motivated enough to finish it BEFORE. This is really starting to bug me. In year 11 next year, I can NOT be enveloped in this bad habit of mine 'cause if an assignment is overdue, I would automatically get a zero on the assignment regardless of whether I have done it or not. From writing this, I believe that it has motivated me to actually do it for it is on my mind right now.
The other thing I need motivation with is practising my sight-reading on the guitar! My fingers are well trained already but I just haven't been practising sight-reading enough and I know that I will regret it later. What I need is time-management skills! I need to keep a constant schedule and stick to it, do assignments early and with effort, and put time aside to committ to my music studies. I have become very lazy in this field and this needs to change NOW. That's basically my fault at the moment. But I'm really starting to get tired of this. It's time to do my assignment!

By the way, I can't change my mood! What happened???
